Syllabus
Course requirements:
In order for you to achieve the course successfully
these components of the course - the lessons, textbook, assignments
and time for the tests – should be prepared for.

Complete and submit the Letter of Agreement.

Get a course password (call the Distance Learning
Department or your instructor if you
have not received it by mail.

Complete three quizzes online.

Review your midterm and final reviews, which are
available two weeks before the actual date of each test. Local
students can access their test reviews at the nearest Coastline
libraries/media centers. The actual tests are administered on-site.

Course grade scale:
The final course grade will be based on a percentage
system of the points accumulated during the semester, according to the
following scale:
90 – 100% = A
80 – 89% = B
70 – 79% = C
60 – 69% = D
59% and below = F
70% and above = Credit Only (CR)
69% and below = Non-credit (NC)
Assignment grade scale:
Quizzes 30%
Midterm 25%
Final 45%
Extra credit 5%
Withdrawals:
Your instructor is here to help you succeed. If you
have any problem – personal or academic – do not hesitate to call him.
But if you must withdraw from the class, it is your responsibility to
